In the T.A.E.I.L. frame, the nine-pointed star acknowledges a widely used Bahá’í symbol. It is used as a respectful, limited visual reference—not as a claim that T.A.E.I.L. interprets Bahá’í teachings or represents all Bahá’ís.

The Bahá’í Faith is a global religious tradition founded in the nineteenth century through the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh. Bahá’í communities are present in many countries and cultures, with varied languages, family histories, local practices, and personal experiences of faith and community.
The number nine is significant in Bahá’í contexts, and the nine-pointed star is widely used as a symbol. It is often associated with unity and completeness. As with any visual symbol, however, its use does not fully describe an individual’s beliefs, experiences, relationships, or wishes.
Memory, care, and community
Bahá’í approaches to prayer, community support, remembrance, and care can be shaped by individual preference, family circumstances, local community life, and the guidance of people the individual trusts. Some people may want Local Spiritual Assembly members, friends, family, or other community members involved; others may prefer a private or non-ceremonial approach.
It is not respectful to assume that a Bahá’í identity establishes a person’s desired words, prayers, gathering, public information, digital memorial, family authority, or level of religious observance. Those preferences need to be asked about and respected.
The nine-pointed star may be meaningful to someone, but it does not establish their preferred practices, who may speak for them, public memorial content, access to private information, or any decision about what should happen next.
Why it appears in the frame
The nine-pointed star is the seventh visual reference in the T.A.E.I.L. frame. It acknowledges the Bahá’í Faith as part of the many traditions and worldviews through which people may approach unity, memory, care, and preparation. Its placement is organizational, not a ranking of beliefs.
